Neurologist 's  Response
If you would like to send a digital photograph of this dark line I would be happy to give a more objective opinion. There are a number of MS drugs on the market that are useful though risky in terms of collateral side effects but if you're saying that your condition is worsening and nothing tried thusfar is helping then, why not look into these agents. Your neurologist I'm sure is aware of these more recent infusion therapies for severe and refractory MS. I'm not aware of anything specific to your problem or with plasma exchange that would cause such discoloration.
