Hello,
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.
Yes. You have to consult the surgeon.
Because it can be a Paget's disease in breast nipple.
Paget's disease is nothing but a Cancer in the skin of the nipple.
As you already had the
breast cancer and treated, it may indicate the breast cancer in the underlying breast.
There are some studies saying that cancer cells travel from tumor inside the breast through milk ducts and form cancer in nipple.
It is better to consult immediately with surgeon. He may advice all the tests which you have done early like
mammogram,
ultrasound breast etc.
He may look for lymph nodes in the
axilla.
He may take tissue
biopsy and send for pathologic evaluation of the tissue to confirm whether it is a cancer or not.
If the the malignant cells are present, then you have to get remove your breast completely.
As you are at high risk of cancer.
Hope this helps.
Please write back for further queries.
