What Does Absent Stomach Bubble In Ultrasound During Pregnancy Indicate?

We have been for a scan in 20th Week where Doctor was unable to see stomach bubble in ultrasound. I have never heard of this & Doctor has asked me to go for chromosomanality test to make sure everything is fine. Is there any risk associated with baby or mother if Stomach Bubble is missing?

Hi, I can understand your concern.absent stomach bubble means duodenal atresia ,means baby is not having (food pipe) he is very right do chromosomal test.and look for other anomaly in baby.All the best.
