What Does An Abdominal Xray Showing Constipation In RT Side Of Colon Indicate?
Ive had dull pain in Rt upper abdomen on and off for couple months. Had an abdominal xray which showed Constipation in RT side of colon. I have not had any problems really with constipation, and Im an Rn. Im not 100% in my my that this is what it is. What do you think? Is it possible to be constipation in one area like that?

It is normal to have bowel shadow in abdominal X-rays.From this,constipation can't be diagnosed.
You need proper clinical examination and investigations for abdominal pain.
You need investigations like routine hemogram,RBS,LFT,RFT,Lipid profile,Ultrasound of abdomen.Further investigations can be done if needed.
Ultrasound of abdomen can exclude many conditions.
