hello Doctor I am Piyushi age 27 from Mumbai India I am 19 week Pregnant & in Anamoly Scan Doctor told me that there is Placenta is anterior right lateral low lying . there is marginal previa. Grade I maturity . what it is all about . what i do i want safe & normal Delivery. please help me
At 19 weeks the placenta is still to take its final position and to know that you must get ultrasound scan done after 28 weeks. The placenta covering the os (previa) may be a problem in normal delivery leading to severe bleeding or birth related complications. Getting an ultrasound scan after 28 weeks will tell the feasibility of a normal delivery. If you are under doctors supervision then no need to worry. Even if the previa persists please do not worry as your doctor will suggest cesarean delivery which will benefit you and your baby.
