my mother is a cancer patient. today she had done usg, the report state that a hypoechoic sol measuring 3.0x 5.5 is noted at upper pole of right kidney and another hypoechoic sol measuring 8.9 x9.4 is notted at upper pole of left kidney- bilateral adrenal neoplasia. can i know what does it mean?
adrenal gland which is situated above the both kidney and neoplasia refers to abnormal growth. as your mother is a cancer patient her ultrasound investigation reveals abnormal growth in the adrenal gland seems to a malgnancy(cancer).
