My son-in-law - recent had an MI - with a torsade ventricular arrhythmia afterward. This was 3 months ago. He saw his doctor today after having had a follow-up MUGA and was told that he has a black spot in his heart - and they are not going to put in the indwelling defibrillator (he's been wearing a life vest) until they investigate. After 40 years of medical transcription experience - I don't really get what a black (dead) spot is. My daughter is very concerned.
