Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of the blood report is as follows:
Increased RDW is seen in cases where there is variation in the red blood cell sizes.
Raised RDW is seen in
iron deficiency anemia.
However, a peripheral blood film examination has to be done to know the type of anemia. The eosinophils are raised in blood.
Eosinophils are raised in cases of allergies like asthma,
hay fever, urticaria; parasitic infections, drug reaction, neoplasms.
The raised
eosinophil count has to be correlated with clinical findings.
The fasting
glucose value of 97 mg/dl is within normal limits.
ALT/SGPT is a liver enzyme which is raised in cases of liver
cell damage.
However, SGPT is usually raised in association with SGOT.
The normal level for both SGPT and SGOT is below 40 IU/L.
SGPT levels can be repeated after a couple of weeks.
The LDL
cholesterol is raised (normal should be below 100 mg/dl) and HDL is low. HDL should be above 60 mg/dl.
A life style modification should be followed .
Life style modofication includes- increase the intake of poly-unsaturated fatty acids and reduce intake of fatty foods.
The normal range for uric acid is between 2-6 mg/dl.
The level of uric acid is raised.
The specific gravity of urine is slightly increased (normal is between 1.001-1.010.
Levels above this range could be due to increased osmolarity of urine.
Low calcium suggests increased calcium loos from body.
Presence of proteins in urine suggests some
kidney disease which is causing leakage of proteins in urine.
Consult your primary health provider with report for further work up.
Thanks and take care
