What Does Cyst In Uterus Within The Myometrium Mean In Ultrasound?
hi, idid my ultrasound, it shows my endometrium is 0.8cm, uterus is 9*6*5.7 cm, incidental 0.6cm cyst within the uterus that appears to be within the myometrium on some projections, less likely endometrium. impression :nonspecfic 0.6cm simple appearing uterine cyst. this is likely an incidental finding however correlation with beta hcg. no free fluid. adnexa are unremarkable.what is mean?

Your report is almost normal.
Uterus is normal in size.
Thickness of endometrium is also normal.
There is a small cyst in the uterus measuring 6 mm and it appears to be myometrial cyst.These are benign incidental finding and doesn't require any treatment.However it benign nature should be confirmed by estimation of beta hcg.
Both adnexa appears normal and there is no free fluid in POD.
