What Does Infection In Lungs Due To Near Pneumonia Mean And What Treatment Is Required Since I Am A Diabetic ?
im 33 year old, 5 4 height 64lbs, i have a high blood sugar and my previous check up i had a infection in lung due to near pneumonia . doc what is the meaning of this. there is a platelike density in the left mid lung field, suggestive of subsegmental atelectasis or fibrosis .what is the solution to my problem.
Pneumonia means, exudation of fluid in the alveolar space due to inflammation caused due to infection...The infection may be by viral or bacterial... subsegmental atelectasis means collapse of a particular segment of the lobe of lung... The infection like pneumonia will heal, within 2 to 3 weeks.. but for atelectasis , it will take time to recover... you must continue with antibiotics... i hope i have answered your question....
Thank you...
