my mom had undergone treatment for breast cancer stage 3 and she was doing fine. two weeks back she got severe back pain and she did scan today and the scan report is written area of intense tracer uptake is same at the medial end of left clavicle. Invovoling d5,d6,d7,d11 $l3 verteebrae.increased tracer uptake is noted in the right sacro -illiac foci of intense tracer uptake noted in the left illium comments foci of intense tracer uptake noted in the left illium please advise

Those areas are showing increased metabolism so they show increased tracer uptake. In your mother's case, there is evidence of increased uptake in clavicle, vertebrae and sacroiliac joint so it suggests that there is presence of metastasis over there and there is spread of the disease involving these bones. You should get your mother evaluated by an oncologist and depending on other tests/staging the oncologist will advise further management. It will require treatment with chemo/radiation.
