When a
cyst is "complicated" it means that there are solid components in it, that can sometimes be a tumor, usually a
benign tumor, and rarely it could also be a cancer. However, in your case, the "low level internal echoes" means that the solid components are very subtle, and may not mean anything. Also the size is very small, which is also encouraging. The fact that you have had two ultrasounds and that it hasn't changed or grown, is another very good sign. So in all probability, your cyst is benign and requires no action. However, it is concerning enough to continue to follow by ultrasound to make sure it doesn't grow or change and appear worse. The specialist will probably give you several options, one would be to wait and continue following by ultrasound, the second would be to remove the cyst surgically and preserve the ovary, and the third would be to remove the ovary completely.
This requires a long discussion with your doctor, and every case needs to e evaluated based on your specific risks, health, age, other medical issues, and so on. So you can be reassured for now, and I am sure you will be able to make the right decision when you see your doctor. I hope this was helpful, please let me know if you have any more questions.
