What Does Mild Fullness In Renal And Free Fluid In Pelvis Suggest?
Hi, my name is Ava and I recently had a CT Scan that showed diffuse wall thickening of my bladder along with mild fullness in renal pelvis bilaterally. It also showed small free fluid in pelvis. My urinalysis showed no signs of infection although it did show protein. I do have urgency from time to time and often leak before urinating. There are times my urine burns and on occasion I've noticed my urine stream to be weak. What could this possibly be?
HI. Thanks for an elucidate history; so much suggestive of an obstruction to the out flow in urethra. This has shown to have secondary changes of fullness in renal pelvis and bladder thickening. I would advise such a patient to for opinion of urologist, urethrocystoscopy as a diagnostic and may be therapeutic procedure,, meaning if there is a stricture it can be treated at the same time of this scopy.
