What Does My Beta HCG Report Indicate?

hello doc...
i had my beta hcg test done.. its showed 42 miu/ml
i wos told to do a re test after 2days...now its shows this-HCG-Beta Subunit, Serum by CMIA. ( 4 Days
Of Cycle )
BELOW 1.2
my doc saes its aborting naturally..
do i have to worry!
i am not pregnant anymore right????

Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic.
The beta HCG levels in pregnancy keep on increasing along the course of pregnancy. It should never drop unless there is an abortion. In your case it has dropped drastically from 42 to 1.2 so you should be assured that it is due to abortion. You are unlikely to be pregnant anymore.
