What Does My Cholesterol Level Suggest?

Hello, I am a 44 year old female and I just got my Cholesterol numbers back. My LDL is 147, my HDL is 81, Total is 248. Triglycerides are 100. My doctor said that due to my high HDL I shouldn t worry about my LDL. This actually scares me. What is your opinion? Thank you, Sondra

Dear Mrs,
If you have no other risk factors, as hypertension, ischemic heart disease, menopause, there is no need to interfere with medications.
Actually you shouldn't worry.
But I would advise you to follow healthy lifestyle, exercise much and lose weight if you are overweight.

Take care

Regards,
