CT scan report says two conglomeratye subcentimeter sized ring enhancing lesions with surrounding edema in left high parietal region - likely inflammatory granuloma - ? Tuberculomas - D/D Neurocysticercosis . Kindly tell us what is the meaning of that.
There are two small areas in the brain which are of infective nature and this is responsible for any seizure activity in the patient. As these are very small it is difficult to give one confirmatory diagnosis hence there is a doubt over a neurocysticercosis (dog tape worm) infection over a tuberculosis infection. Right nor the patient needs to be given steroids to decrease the brain swelling and also anti epileptics to control seizures.
