What Does My Ultrasound Result Mean?

Good Morning!
The ultrasound result showing below.
USG of: Abdomen / Pelvis

Fatty Liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen are normal.
no focal lesion.

Kidneys: Left kidney : 10.8 x 4.4 cms.
is normal in size,shape, echopattern.
no hydronephrosis.
3.6mm mid polar calculus noted

Right Kidney: 10.7 x 5.8 cms.
Multiple calyceal calculi largest of 4mm at upper pole
mild pelvi calyceal dilatation

Right ureter is seen to be dilated in its visualised upper portion.
The mid & lower ureter is obscured by bowel gas.

Urinary bladder:- partly distended.
no vesical calculus
Both u. v junctions are clear


Uterus is normal. no focal lesion
Bilateral adenexae clear


Impression: Mind right renal pelvicalyceal dilation along with upper ureter s/o mid to lower ureteric
obstruction.

Bilateral multiple calculi.

Fatty liver.

Thanks for writing to HCM

Your report suggests multiple bilateral renal calculi.There is mild dilatation of right renal pelvi calyceal system along with dilatation of upper ureter s/o mid to lower ureter obstruction.Mid & lower ureter is obscured by bowel gas.

There is also mild fatty liver.
Rest of the findings are normal.
You should drink lot of water and need routine blood investigations.
You should consult urologist for renal calculus.
You should avoid saturated fat and increase your physical activity in the form of exercise,walking.
