Thanks for posting your query.

Normal procedure of ovulation is Primordial follicle- Primary follicle - Secondary follicle- Mature follicle- Ovulation.

After ovulation, follicular remnants forms a corpus luteum.

In some instances hormonal stimulation causes Corpus luteum to continue to grow.

This is called ovarian new growth.

Investigations like Ultrasound are helpful.
