What Does Placenta Previa At 33 Weeks Of Pregnancy Indicate?
I am 33weeks 3 days pregnant. When I did my ultrasound it says that posterior placenta remained low extending to within 3.2cm of the internal os indicating a significant degree of placenta previa at this gestation. What does this mean and is there anything to worry about?
please tell in detail ur obstetric history ( last childbirth were normal or lscs) also any history of placenta praevia or preterm delivery in ur case placenta is posterior low lying at 33 weeks , u can get another usg after 3 to 4 weeks for relocalization of placenta if u do not go in labor posterior low lying placenta at term ( 38 weeks ) may necessitate cesarean section
But u need to be cautious against travel , heavy work. And report immediately to ur gynaecologist on case of bleeding pv or labor pains.
please get ur Hb done .U should maintain ur Hb 12 go to be on the safer side .
