i recently got a Rubella IgG test done .... & my report was 0.93 "equivocal" ... i don't understand what it means ... can any one assist me on this ..... a week back i had taken a MMR booster shot .... i am doing this because it is required for students entering US

Your report indicates IgG equivocal that means somewhere in between negative and positive.A repeat test is indicated for confirmation.The presence of IgG antibodies but not IgM antibodies indicates a history of past exposure to the virus or vaccination and indicates that the person tested should be immune to the rubella.
