What dose c5-c6 posterior osteophytosis and diffuse disc bulge in combination with bilateral facet arthropathy resulting in mild to moderate right and severe left exiting neural foraminal stenosis. There is effacement of thecal sac without spinal stenosis mean?
There is degeneration of cervical spine vertebrae C 5 and C 6. This is resulting in the disc bulging between the bones and causing degenerative changes along sides which is known as facet arthropathy. The nerve roots pass through these neural foramina and you might have severe nerve root compression at that level on the left side which is giving you pain. The covering of the spinal cord is slightly having pressures effects due to bulging disc.
