What Does Semenreport As Gelatinous Indicate?

my husband's semen analysis report. Volume:3.0ml , consistency semi Gelatinous, total sperm count:80 million/ml , active motile:65% , sluggish:15% , Immotile:20% , Morphology normal:80%, abnormal:20% , Misc . Pus cells:2-3 /HPE Nil . Is that normal?

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Your semen analysis report suggests infection.Semen is normally gelatinous in appearance.
Infection is indicated by the presence of pus cells in semen. Normally there shouldn't be any pus cells in semen.
Infection may be due to prostatitis,UTI etc.
You need antibiotics for infection.
You need few more investigation like routine hemogram,Semen culture and sensitivity,RBS,Ultrasound of pelvis should be done.Trans rectal sonography of prostate can be done if needed.
Proper antibiotics should be prescribed after culture and sensitivity report.

Other findings like volume,sperm count,motility and morphology are normal.
