What Does Single, Intrauterine Gestational Sac With Fetal Pole Mean?
In First ultrasound this shows single, intrauterine gestational sac, with foetal pole. Embryonic cardiac activity not seen yet. yolk sac seen. Internal Os is closed. cervix is normal in length (32mm) & echotexture. No adnexal mass seen. What this report indicates?
According to reports there is single intrauterine gestational sac with visible fetal pole. But fetal cardiac activity is not seen,so you need follow up scan after 2 weeks. You didn't mentioned fetal gestational age.Non visualization of fetal cardiac activity may be due to early pregnancy, excessive maternal abdominal fat etc. Other findings like cervical length and adnexa appears normal. Hope i have answered your query.
