Hello,
Welcome to HCM,
After intercourse semen is discharged in vagina near cervix. Semen takes some time to liquify, then healthy and actively motile sperms will enter in uterus, which again requires some time. If you wash before their entry in uterus, how will they be able to fertilize an ovum. Thus you should not only avoid washing, but also avoid movements particularly leaving bed for some time. To increase chances of pregnancy, you should do intercourse nearby ovulation day only, which is generally 14th day of menstrual period in a regular cycle of 28 days. Ovulation day can be predicted by use of Ovulation prediction kit.
Wish you good health & early conception,
Hello
Spotting after periods is not uncommon and could be a normal thing and is generally experienced gy almost all females some or other time.
Other common reasons of spotting could be due to pregnancy when implantation bleeding occurs, could be due to trapped menstrual flow, could be due to cysts in the ovary or may be due to dome local injury caused during enthusiastic sexual intercourse.
Get your self tested for a pregnancy test and if pregnancy is not there you can consult your gynecologist for the examination.
For conception, don't wash immediately and remain lying down for 15 minutes after the sex to let the sperms enter your vagina.
Thanks
