My sister has been coughing for 1 month. A doctor suggested that she take an x-ray. The result came out a saying that there are suspicious densities on her upper lobe and apicolordotic view is suggested . Her doctor is currently on leave and we are already worried about the result, we cant wait for her to comeback. What are the possible diseases that may have caused this densities? Also, what maybe the cause for having her take this apicolordotic view.
Suspicious densities means the radiologist isn't sure whether there are densities or not and if there are then what ? Apicolordotic view will confirm whether there are densities or not, as the clavicle will not obstruct the view. Most probably it looks like tuberculosis if there are upper lobe densities, however we need to do further investigations to confirm and clinically confirm a disease
