What Does Swelling And Popping Sound From Foot Indicate?

Hello Doctor Grief,
While sparring in karate, I did a front kick, got an elbow to the top of my left foot. That was a month ago. X-ray was fine. But, still have a swollen area, and sensitive to touch, hurts, more when I walk, itches, and makes cracking and popping sounds frequently. Will ice and NSAIDs help?

Hi,

I have gone through your query.

Instead of ice you should use hot packs and NSAIDS. Avoid jumping and upstairs as much as you can.
