T6-7 small right paracentral disc protrusion which abuts the right ventral cord T7-8 a small posterior disc osteophyte complex is present which partially effaces the ventral sac T-8-9 a left paracentral disc osteophyte complex is present which partially effaces the left ventral thecal sac Can you explain this in English?
Hi, Thanks for using healthcaremagic. The report is talking about intervertebral discs at various levels. T5-6 means at level between 5th and 6th vertebrae in the thoracic spine. The report states small protrusions of the disc at various intervertebral disc levels which occurs due to age and is seen in degenerative changes. Osteophyte complex are protrusion from the vertebra which are also part of degenerative changes. So, basically the report means that you are having degenerative changes in your spine which is causing problems to you. But, most of the levels it is small and affecting partially so its in a early stage. I think, you might be having backache, but in early stages it can be controlled by exercise and physiotherapy.
