I'm having really bad back pain and pain is going down my left leg. My MD had a xray done and in the Impression it said: Mild multilevel lumbar degenerative disc disease with slight L2 on L3 retrolisthesis. My dr. my xray was normal. I had a other friend that is L.P say that it was not normal. So should i go see a Nerosurgery or this that narmal?
welcome to Health care magic. 1.Degenerative disc changes are seen as reduced intervertebral space, and listhesis is seen when your vertebrae are no in a line - pushed anterior or posterior. 2.Your symptoms correspond to the findings. 3.It is not normal, you may need treatment depending upon the grade. 4.Better you get your MRIlumbar spine done - which will be asked by neurologist if you would like to visit. 5.Get an MRI done, see ortho specialist - may be simple exercise will help to get rid of the symptoms. Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health. Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
