What Does The X Ray With Punctate Calcification In Hemipelvis Indicate?
Feel like i have kidney infection under my right rib in my back for 2 mnths now. Dr did xray..results say, multiple rounded calific densities with lucent centers in pelvis, a small punctate clification in hemipelvis. Have ct scans today, but what could this mean?

You have done X-Ray of the abdomen for suspected kidney infection since 2 months which is reported to have multiple rounded calcific densities with radiolucent centers in pelvis, and a small punctate calcification in hemipelvis.
The multiple calcified densities with radiolucent center are stones in the renal pelvis where as small punctate calcification represent small calcified particles less than 2 mm in diameter which usually pass out through urine spontaneously .
