My child had 2 days of fever and last 2 days her temperature is normal, the doctor prescribed her metacin and meftal p 250mg atlernatively every 3 hours and lots of liquids. We have done blood test twice on second day and 4th day. Her WBC count has gone up from 2300 to 2500, Platelette count has gone down from 153000 to 140000, SGPT has gone up from 41.6 to 148.1, what could be the problem? What should we do?
Hi, dear. I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Your all reports and symptoms suggest that you have most probably viral fever. So it takes 4 to 5 days to cure. Meanwhile you should check your platelets alternative day. Take plenty of fluid orally. If you find any signs of bleeding then consult your doctor urgently. Right now now any further treatment is required. Just continue with your treatment. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
