What Does The Chest X Ray Mean?

My friend 56 yr old male has in x-ray chest bilateral extensive thickening of interstitial lung markings with cystic changes and peribronchial thickening at right lower lung zone with small oppacities at both lower lobes. Also bilateral pleural thickening more on right side. what will be the underlying reason.

You are suffering from interstitial lung disease with bronchiectatic changes.
Interstitial lung disease may be due to many causes.
You need further investigations like HRCT of thorax and clinical correlation.
Investigations like routine hemogram,pulmonary function test should be done.
Proper management depend upon underlying etiology.
