What Does The Ecg Report Indicate?

Reviewing a ekg from October of last year. It states: Intervals Axis Rate: 123 P: 44 PR: 132 QRS: 83 QRSD: 100 T: -26 QT: 312 QTc: 447 Interpretive Statements SINUS TACHYCARDIA BORDERLINE T ABNORMALITIES, INFERIOR LEADS Standard 12 Lead Report Borderline ECG COMPARED TO PRIOR STUDY FROM 9/16/08, NO CHANGE Is this anything to worry about?

Thanks for your question on HCM.
You aare having very rapid heart rate. 132 is very high. We need to search for the causes.
Common causes for sinus tachycardia are
1. Anxiety, stress, tension, fear, nervousness.
2. Anemia
3. Thyroid related problems.
So you should get done CBC (Complete blood count) to rule out anemia.
Get done S. TSH to rule out thyroid problems.
Consult psychiatrist to rule out stress and anxiety.
And no need to worry for borderline T wave abnormality, as S.tachycardia can cause some Ecg abnormality, but it is non significant. So try to control your heart rate.
