What Does The Result Says:HSG Exam With Omnipaque Shows Uterus Is Retroverted & Deviated Towards Left Side?
My wife had done a HSG & the report is hereunder: HSG exam with Omnipaque shows Uterus is retroverted & deviated towards left side. No evidence of filling detect is seen. Tubes are normally outlined Location of contrast is seen in left side No peritoneal spillage is seen Bilateral Tubal Block (Fimbreal Ends)
The report describes the appearance of uterus to be slightly bent backwards and more to the left. Other than this the tubes are blocked at the ends near the ovaries. Probably this is preventing the eggs from entering the tubes and so a cause for infertility. Please discuss with your gynecologist.
