What Does The Spots On Lungs, Vertebrae And Right Hip In A PET Scan Report Of Breast Cancer Survivor Indicate?

I am a 10 yr breast cancer survivor and it is now back. Estrogen + Her2 -.(biopsy) PET scan shows spots on my lungs and verabrae and right hip(butt) area. Not thrilled with my former oncologist but have seen him for these tests and consultation. I m 67 years old in November. Arimidex pills???

Hi and Welcome to HCM,

This study shows it has spread to vertebrae, lungs and right hip.
It is metastasis stage. Arimidex is advisable medication for it. Medication can be taken only with the consultation of the oncologist.
