1.
Sinus rhythm is absolutely normal rhythm which we all have.
2. QTc is short - This can be due to increased Calcium in blood , exposure to excessive heat or if you are taking drugs like
digoxin.
3. FLat T wave can be due to thick chest wall , low blood flow to heart(myocardial ischaemia) ,
thyroid dysfunction , low potassium in blood.
If you have
chest pain , palpitations , skipped beat , breathlessness
consult a cardiologist. He/she will be able to correlate the report clinically.
I always tell my patients that an abnormal EKG requires further evidence. It is tool for diagnosis with other tests, clinical evidence and symptoms .
