What Does This MRI Report Of Brain Indicate?

I had some vision issues and often experience finger/hand tingling about a year ago and my PCP prescribed an MRI; I had both brain and spine (neck only) MRIs. The MRI of my neck showed I have arthritis. The MRI showed leisions on my brain that appeared to resemble MS, so they did a spinal tap; however, the spinal tap was ok. Now 9 months later another MRI was done for comparison and nothing has changed... I saw "advanced chronic microvascular white matter ischemic disease with no athropy" and can't seem to learn anything - my doctor didn't even mention it. I am 59 (next Wednesday) and am in generally good health.
