What Does This Report Signify: Nabothian Cyst, Left Ovary Not Seen, No Fluid In The Cul De Sac?
I have been spotting for a week, very light spotting , after 4 years of no menstrual period. I had a transvaginal ultra sound and there was found a Nabothian cyst, left ovary is not seen, there is no fluid in the cul de sac. What does all these mean?

Hello, Welcome to HCM A nabothian cyst also called nabothian follicle is a mucus-filled cyst on the surface of the cervix.They are harmless and usually disappear on their own.They are not considered problematic unless they grow very large and cause secondary symptoms. Cul de sac is pouch of douglas present behind the vagina.Normally fluid should not be present in this.In your case also,it is not present Hope you are happy with the answer. Thank you
