What Does This Scan Result Of The Uterus Indicate?
what do you mean by overall echopattern of the posterior myometrium may be secondary to adenomyosis? normal-sized retroverted uterus... thin and anteriorly displaced endometrial stripe. complex cystic right adnexal mass as described, likely ovarian or pavovarian in nature.
Your USG report suggests normal size uterus with changes of adenomyosis. Adenomyosis is a condition in which the inner lining of the uterus (endometrium) breaks through the muscle wall of the uterus (myometrium). It is a benign condition. Treatment of adenomyosis are both conservative and surgical depending upon many things like age, family is completed or not, symptoms etc. Endometrial stripe is thin and it is anteriorly displaced. There is also complex right adnexal cyst,it may be ovarian or pavovarian in nature. This need further investigation like tumour markers,CT scan and follow up.
