What Does Tuberculosis Lymphadenitis In The Report Suggest?
Gall Bladder was removed and as the lymph nodes were enlarged a lymph node biopsy was done and the opinion is as under:suggestive of Tuberculosis Lymphadenitis1) Does this mean that the TB is there 2) Medicine prescribed are RCINEX Pyxyinomide 1500 mg Etanbutol 1200 mg Penadon are these right? whether I should go for the medicines what r the side effects

Yes, if the lymphnode shows granulomas and findings are suggestive of tuberculous lymphadenitis, then you have tuberculosis. 2. Treatment is prescribed correctly and you can continue. 3. Side effects are rare and usually related to mild liver damage, if it occurs. Followup with liver function tests if you have any signs of jaundice or right upper abdominal pain. Hope it helps.
