What Is Causing Pain In My Lower Back?

I had a surgical abortion at 10 weeks pregnant about three weeks ago. I am having very bad lower back pain that has not alleviated even with heat pads, naproxen, acetomeniphen, etc. I have my f/u in a couple of days, but was wondering what could be causing the pain and if its abnormal.

Hi,
It is imperative to get a proper clinical review. It is possible that some residue of the baby like the placenta should still be in the uterus. I suggest you do a control ultrasound and see your doctor for there is a serious risk of infection and recurrence of bleeding. Kind regards
