What Is The Anticipated Dosage Of Amitriptyline For A Week ?

Had a drug test today at work (in the UK) - I don’t know if they test for Tricyclic antidepressants but am concerned if they do. I have taken small dosages of Amitriptyline 6 days & 7days ago and 10 & 11 days ago. Each dose was 25mg (100mg total) – how worried should I be?

Amitriptylin is for long term use for anxity and depression. Short term you can use for sleep. As such drug test is done for theraputic range. You should not worry about it. Please consult a psychiatrist for diagnosis. After that you can follow up with us.
