Hi Doctor, my husband (49 years) had subdural haematoma and a subsequent stoke his brain in 2007 which got healed without an operation. However it has left an infarct and since 2009 he has had 5 seizures without any pre-warning. luckily for him it was at home and in office where ther were people around. He was never epileptic. He is a diabetic for the last 25 years and is on insulin, cholesterol, hypertension drugs in addition to glucophage. Since his first seqizure he was put on eptoin 3 times a day, but he suffered seizures after that too, he is now on eptoing and sodium valporal 300 grams an still suffered a seizure recently, What could be the cause of the seizure and is there anyway it can be stopped?
What is the best practical level of HbA1C for a diabetic for 25 years?
