What Is The Best Treatment For Arthritis And Knee Pain?
Hello , My mother has is 50 years old , has arthritis n pain in right knee. Doctor has said the spaces between knee joints is finished and advises Knee replacement for both knees. But my mother wants to try Ayurveda treatment ? Will Ayurveda solve the problem of cartilage or will it just postpone the damage ? Will she have to eventually go for knee replacement ? Preeti
Ayurveda may help only to relieve pain partially. If there is severe degeneration then TKR is good option. If you can send x ray I can help you in better way. Post operative Physiotherapy like ultrasound and tens will help, along with knee exercises for early recovery.
Total knee joint replacement patient find good difference in mobility after joint replacement. So you can do TKR after consulting joint replacement surgeon, there will not be any problem probably.
