My 66 year old father has been just diagnosed with elephantiasis disease. He is also a high BP patient and suffered a mild paralysis attack on the left side of the body back in 2009. I would like to know what is the best treatment for elephantiasis. Thanks, Nidhi
Hi, There is no cure for Elephantiasis. If diagnosed earlier medicines gives symptomatic relief. He might require one long course of Di-ethyl- carbamazine (DEC ) medicine like Hetrazan or Unicarbazone forte. Consult your doctor and get examined. Ok and take care.
