Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 60 yrs old and to my knowledge never had a knee injury. Just out of the blue, I now have a burning sensation ( like a severe brush burn) when I kneel on my left knee. I have no discomfort at any other time with this knee. Any suggestions on why this could be happening? Thanks
Hi, From history it seems that there might be having degenerative changes in your left knee due to osteoartheritis. Go for x-ray knee joint. Consult orthopedic suregeon and get examined. Do patellar exercise daily. Avoid more bending from joint. Avoid squatting position. Ok and take care.
