What Is The Cause And Remedy For Recurring Viral Infections In A Child ?
Hello doc . please help to find why my four year old son having recurrent viral infection .He is in nursery also please tell me how should i help him to improve his healthy immune.Thank you
Hi,thanks for your query.First of all,i would like to tell you that a few episodes of viral infections in children is considered to be normal but if the occurence is frequent as in your case than its a matter of concern to parents as well as to the treating doctor. Frequent viral infections might be due to dietary deficiency of proteins, vitamins like A and B12...both of which help to fight against such infections. On the another hand, 'Group Child Care' so called Nurseries is a very important known cause of recurrent respiratory tract infections in young children as is child is exposed to different types of bacterias, viruses etc. in the air. So, i would suggest you take intense good care of your child in the form of nutritious diet having required amount of vitamins ,proteins and minerals, guide him how to maintain good physical hygiene along with proper hand washing, maintain weight chart of your child to keep a eye on his health, give him all remaining immunization.Avoid Nursery care if possible. For any new query contact me ....
