What Is The Cause And Treatment For Memory And Concentration Problems, Seizures, Palpitations, Tone Deafness In One With Depression ?

female 45 years old mother of two memory and concentration issues led to job loss, daily headaches , recent unconsciousness at church but full recovery the next day, have had seizures in past-last one in November, joints hurt more than they have in past 3 months, complex decision making more difficult for awhile but that seems to be getting better, no indications from MRI of TIAs or stroke, have strange feeling in head, heart pounds hard at times, recent tone deafness (in past year), loud vibrations make uncomfortable, history of and current mild depression

Dear Madam

Your problem is complex and require further clarification. Difficulties you described can be due to seizure, medication, depression or other physical problem.However based on above mentioned information my guess is that seizure is your major problem which require immediate and adequate control first than any other problem. If symptoms doesn't improves on control of seizure and other physical problem (ear Problem), then additional medication is required after careful evaluation and ascertaining the cause. MRI does not rule out the abnormal function of brain and it just rule out abnormality in structure if any due to injury or otherwise. Please consult your doctor and discussed about full control of seizure, any medication that may cause your current symptoms, any additional physical problem as well as any mental health issue.

Hi! At 45 years of age, having symptoms of daily headaches, strange feelings in head, mild depression, memory and concentration difficulties, and difficulty in complex decision making; all point to major depressive disorder. MRI is normal, hence there does not seem to be a major neurological disorder.
You may wish to consult a Psychiatrist for a full assessment and starting appropriate treatment.
