What Is The Cause For Cramps In The Feet?

Hi my daughter (11) has been having cramps in her feet and what she is describing as a stitch - upper right abdominal. She is also complaining of headache and excessive thirst. DUe to the thirst she is drinking plenty, so I am not thinking dehydration. What could it be?

Hello,

The cramps can happen due to decreased fluid intake, electrolyte imbalance or low levels of thyroid hormone. Taking plenty of electrolyte-rich fluids will help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
