What Is The Cause Of High Blood Glucose Level?
I have Follicular NHL grade2 stage3 typeA. My blood work today showed an uptick in my glucose level. I have 1 more treatment 600mg Rituxan and I will have finished 2 years of Rituxan maint. This is the first time my glucose level has risen. What does it mean? Is the cancer active again?

High blood glucose level in follicular NHL, is due to increased insulin resistance.
It causes increase in the hepatic glucose output causing increased fasting sugar levels.
Secondly it is indicated to start metformin 500 mg two times a day.
