What Is The Cause Of Nausea And Sporadic Arythmia?

Hi, I've alway suffered from becoming nauseous after running or working out too hard. I used to think it was dehydration but now think it has something to do with my heart and sporadic arythmia.

Tonight, I became severely nauseous after a short, high-intensity workout at home. I didn't vomit but had to stay on the ground for about 25 minutes. I saw flickering white and colored static, had ringing in my ears, sweating, dizziness. I couldn't move and had to lie on the floor half-conscious till the feeling subsided.

Do I have a weak heart? Am I just prone to over-exerting myself?

Hi,

While working out, especially during high-intensity exercise. This can produce a sharp rise in blood pressure, followed by a sudden drop in blood pressure.

Known as the Valsalva effect, it can lead to feeling dizzy and lightheaded and even cause you to faint. But it may subside within few seconds.

But 25 minutes dizziness may be due to vestibular apparatus dysfunction or cardia insufficiency.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. please check it out, by getting it done TMT, ECG, echocardiogram and chest x-ray. Please consult your Cardiologist he will examine and treat you accordingly. Till then avoid exertional activities.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
